Your Exercise Support System
You don’t have to keep your resolutions or meet your goals all by yourself. In fact, some say you can’t. We all need a good support system to help us through the rough spots. When it comes to any kind of work out routine, having a support system is very important. There are a number of people who can be a part of your support system in order for you to keep your exercise commitment. These people will help you stay motivated so that you aren’t tempted to skip your aerobics and watch television instead!
Professional Support — Health Care
First, a health care professional should be at the head of your support system. Doctors, such as your primary care physician or even a chiropractor, will be able to give you suggestions about your exercise routine, as well as point out anything you are doing that could be bad for your body. When you have a doctor on your side for your exercise, you know that you are being safe and making good health decisions. Make sure that you visit your doctor regularly to chart your progress and also check with him or her when you drastically change your workout program.

When I was a kid, my mother was studying geology and so I picked up the hobby of rock collecting. Although, I don’t follow that hobby any more, I still have a couple of the more special rocks from my collecting sitting on the bookshelf across from my desk.
