Mental Wake Up Call

mindgames.jpgI don’t know about you, but February always seems to be a challenge. Usually it is just a financial challenge, but this year it was an emotional challenge, as well. My dog of 13 years got sick and was sneezing blood all over the place. She’s better now, but after weeks of cleaning up the mess I’m drained.

So I thought March would be a good month to talk about mind games. Not those games people play to manipulate one another, but those that you play to help sharpen your most precious resource — your mind.

Here are a few resources I found around the Web:

PlayWithYourMind.com is about mind games, brain puzzles and IQ tests. It has nearly 100 original word games, logic puzzles, typing tests, memory challenges, multi-tasks, and a mind sport, making it one of the largest such collections on the Internet.

Queendom’s Mind Stretchers provides a variety of mind toys, quizzes and other things to get your brain into tip-top shape.

Hive-Mind Mind Games has a small selection of fun mind benders.
