I’m not big on reality shows. In fact, I only give two a second look: Last Comic Standing, because I love stand-up comedy, and Dancing with the Stars, because I love dance.
But something else has occurred to me — both shows can have a positive impact on your body! Think about it a moment. Laughter is a good exercise for both body and mind. So watching Last Comic Standing can give you a mini workout if you think the jokes are funny. Some of those comedians have had me laughing so hard water was coming out of my eyes.

If you’re anything like me, you keep a busy schedule. Ideas for new stories come at you from all directions — the news, the book you’re reading, your dreams, bits on conversations you over hear, etc. You do keep a note book with you at all times to jot this stuff down, right?
Yoga is a mind-body exercise, a method of focusing and calming the mind through strengthening the body. How often do we find that we are unable to write well because of the confusions and conflicts in our mind weigh down heavily upon us?
Sometimes, when you look at the grocery aisle, it can seem that you need a lot of money to eat healthily. Fast food is cheap. Good food … not so much. But I have good news, if you are interested in eating a healthy diet, you don’t have to be rich to do so.
