metabolismmurder.jpgCan you “murder” your metabolism? Not really – but you can certainly screw with it’s “mind.” Let’s say, just for example, you are not consistent with your diet. You have been in and out of weight loss programs and, over the years; you gain and lose weight.

This can seriously screw up your metabolic rhythm. But it doesn’t destroy it – if your metabolism was truly murdered, you would be, too. Metabolism is merely the process by which your body converts food into energy. If it were to stop doing that, you would be dead.

    What Is Physiotherapy?

One of the pages I did was about “physiotherapy.” I asked him what the difference was between physiotherapy and physical therapy, because they didn’t look any different. He told me they were the same thing, but only a physical therapist can provide physical therapy, so everyone else has to use the term “physiotherapy.”

    I guess it’s kind of like Champagne — only sparkling wine from Champagne can call itself Champagne.

    Anyway, if you spend much time at a computer, which most writers do, there will probably come a time that you’ll need physiotherapy. So I thought I’d spend a moment explaining what it is.

      Get in Shape with Ballroom Dancing

      ballroomdance.jpgI’m not big on reality shows. In fact, I only give two a second look: Last Comic Standing, because I love stand-up comedy, and Dancing with the Stars, because I love dance.

      But something else has occurred to me — both shows can have a positive impact on your body! Think about it a moment. Laughter is a good exercise for both body and mind. So watching Last Comic Standing can give you a mini workout if you think the jokes are funny. Some of those comedians have had me laughing so hard water was coming out of my eyes.

Make sure that you visit your doctor regularly to chart your progress and also check with him or her when you drastically change your workout program.
